Amazon Hack - Money Stolen via Gift Card, Account Blocked

On August 4, 2025, at 07:11, Turkey time, two purchases were made on my Amazon account, one for $100 and the other for $80, using two of my registered credit cards. This means my account was hacked, and these transactions were made through Amazon USA. I immediately took action after receiving a message from my bank, contacting them first to dispute the payment and apply for account protection (for the $100 transaction). Since the other card belonged to a friend, I couldn't reach him, but I contacted him later that day and performed the same procedures. A gift card had been purchased with the stolen funds. After much effort, I was able to reach Amazon USA intermittently because Amazon Turkey inexplicably told me the incident wasn't their fault and that I should resolve the situation with the USA. Reaching Amazon support, as I mentioned above, was very difficult, and it was impossible to reach me from outside the USA because I was in Türkiye, and the area codes they gave me to call them were always US-based. During this time, Amazon blocked my account, and I've been receiving the same message for two months. They say the account is under review and they'll send you an email. I haven't received a clear response from either the banks or Amazon USA. I've emailed both Amazon TR and Amazon USA numerous times, including screenshots, but there's been no response or interest. I've never seen such carelessness or business ethics—or rather, I should say, immorality and frivolity. I have no way to contact Amazon other than by email because my account is blocked. I've been severely victimized by both hackers and Amazon, and Amazon 's indifference, waste of time, and brazen behavior, including a no-refund policy on gift cards, has led me to file a complaint here. You are my last resort. I hope your warning will make them come to their senses and treat us like human beings! Regards.
