Amazon Charge Attempts Without Checkout

I am writing about two attempted charges of $149.99 each that Amazon tried to take from my Cash App account yesterday, even though I did not complete any purchase. I had a few items saved in my cart only because I was planning to buy them later when I received my tax refund, but I did not go to checkout or confirm any order. Today I saw that Amazon tried to charge me twice for $149.99, and at the same time my cart is now empty. Because there was not enough money on my Cash App balance, the payments did not go through, but I am very concerned and confused about why Amazon attempted to take this money for items I did not order yet. I want to make it clear that I only want to be charged when I actually go to checkout and confirm a purchase, not automatically or repeatedly while I am just keeping items in my cart to buy later. I have tried calling customer service to speak with a real person but I have not been able to reach anyone or get any clear result. I request that Amazon immediately stop any further charge attempts related to this situation, clearly explain why these two $149.99 attempts were made when I had not checked out, and restore my cart or otherwise correct the error so that I do not face any unexpected or automatic charges in the future.
