Amazon Cancelled Order Not Refunded Due To System Error
I placed an order on Amazon Turkey with the order number 406-1181722-4713968 on 16 March, with an estimated delivery date of 25 March. However, on 25 March the order was canceled for further notice and I was left without any clear information or solution. Since the order was canceled, I have been trying to cancel it completely and get a refund, but the Amazon system does not allow this due to a technical error. The supplier firm has confirmed that the order was never even dispatched to them by Amazon on 16 March, which shows that the process did not properly start in the first place. Despite this, I still have not received my refund. I contacted Amazon customer service, but they told me that they could not help me because their system would not allow them to process the cancellation and refund. I was also informed that there is no clear due date for when this issue will be resolved, which is unacceptable for a canceled order that has never been shipped. I request an immediate refund of the full amount of this order to my card without any further delay and a clear written confirmation that the order has been completely canceled in your system.
I received an email from Amazon customer service threatening to cancel my account in the future if I continue asking for a refund for my unreceived / unshipped item through customer service. They told me I shouldn’t contact them about my ongoing issue and that I should just trust their support and wait as long as they need. What a nice customer service system! Amazon is still not accepting any responsibility for their actions.
I experienced technical errors and a lack of communication during the cancellation and refund process of my order with Amazon. Even though the product was never shipped, I was told that it would be delivered. My refund request was eventually processed, but throughout the process, I felt discomfort and a lack of apology.
