Amazon Business Admin Cannot View Past Purchase History Despite Permissions
I recently joined my company’s Amazon Business account on amazon.com and was added as an Admin on 06/30/2026. Despite having an Admin role, I cannot view any of the team’s past purchase history on the business account, which is essential for me to manage our orders and expenses properly. I carefully reviewed all available settings and permissions for my user profile and confirmed that I do have the necessary permissions to view order and purchase history. I also read through the related help and support pages, which state that with my level of access I should be able to see previous purchases. However, in practice, the historical purchase data is still not visible to me. I attempted to resolve this using your chatbot, but it was not able to identify or fix the issue, and I have not been able to find an email address or a live chat option for Amazon Business support to get direct assistance. I kindly request that you explain clearly why, as an Admin on our Amazon Business account, I cannot see past purchase histories, and provide specific instructions or make the necessary changes on your side so that I can view the full historical purchase history for our business account as my role and permissions indicate I should.
I wasn't able to reach Customer Service, but after a few days I WAS able to view purchase history, and everything else. Either Amazon got vibes from all my attempts, or more likely it just takes a few days for things to start functioning once a new user is added.
