Amazon Account Hacked With Unauthorized Charge And Email Change
My regular Amazon shopping account, registered in the United States, appears to have been hacked. Today, 08/27/2026, I noticed an unauthorized $25.00 charge related to Amazon on my bank account, which I did not authorize. Around the same time, my Amazon account email address was changed without my consent, which has affected my ability to access and control my account. I realized there was a problem today when I saw the unauthorized $25.00 charge and then discovered that my email address on the account had been changed. I am extremely concerned about the security of my personal and financial information and need this situation addressed urgently. I request that the unauthorized $25.00 charge be fully refunded and that my Amazon account email be switched back to my original email address so I can regain secure access to my account. I also ask that you secure my account, investigate how this unauthorized access occurred, and confirm that no further unauthorized activity has taken place.
