Alamo Rent A Car Reservation Error – Request for Refund or Time Adjustment

On 07/08/2025 at 15:30, I rented a Hyundai i20 via Alamo’s website, to be picked up from the Ankara YHT Train Station branch and returned on 10/08/2025 at 11:30. However, due to an error on the website, my reservation was created with incorrect dates (10/08/2025 11:30 – 10/08/2025 13:30). As soon as I noticed the mistake, I called customer service. Without providing any clear explanation, they told me that a request had been submitted for the original date and time I wanted. When I called customer service again on 08/08/2025 at 12:58, I was informed that the pickup time could only be changed by a maximum of one hour and that if I canceled, a fee would be deducted. When I tried to cancel the reservation through the website, I was warned that a full day’s rental fee would be charged. My reservation number is: 572474282165. Even though I called customer service again, I was only told that my request had been forwarded, and no solution has been offered so far. I am filing a complaint against the first customer service representative I spoke to and request either a full refund of the rental fee or that the vehicle be made available for use during the date and time range I originally intended.
