I Joined Akbank Housing Dues Campaign but Got No Refunds
I am a salary customer of Akbank and joined the housing dues campaign in October 2024. The campaign promised a 25% refund of the monthly payment amount, provided that I set up two automatic bill payment instructions. Despite calling multiple times, I’ve only received one refund so far. After that, nothing—no further payments, no proper updates. I must have called customer service at least 10 to 15 times, each time being told things like “we’re reviewing it,” “it’s almost done,” or “we’ll get back to you soon.” Yet, here we are, and I’ve heard nothing. Is this how a long-established bank like Akbank should treat its customers? It’s disgraceful, and the employees handling this matter seem indifferent and careless.
