Akbank's legal department has been contacting my family members and relatives about my overdue debt, sharing my personal data and information without my consent. According to Article 136 of the Turkish Penal Code, it is illegal under KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law) to contact anyone other than the debtor regarding the debt, and such actions are punishable by imprisonment from 1.5 to 6 years. Additionally, under Article 125, calling people other than the debtor is considered a violation of personal honor and reputation. Both my mother and father were called during the day and were told, "Pay your son's debt or we’ll come to your house for foreclosure." I will file official complaints with the relevant authorities, along with supporting documents. Phone number ending in: 9111.
