Ajet’s Lost Luggage Scandal: Student Left Stranded In Skopje


On 01/10/2025, my daughter traveled from Konya to Skopje with a connecting Ajet flight via Istanbul. Upon arrival at Skopje Airport, her large suitcase was lost. She immediately filed a lost baggage report at the airport and also submitted a complaint through customer service. The tracking number is 2500086678. Despite five days having passed, we have not received any updates or information regarding the matter. As a student, my daughter’s suitcase contained essential personal items and clothing that she brought from Türkiye to North Macedonia—items she cannot easily replace there. This situation has caused her both financial and emotional distress. The ticket number is 2042438870528, and the baggage tag number is VF933599. No action has been taken since the report was filed, and due to the negligence of the responsible parties, the inconvenience continues to worsen. Our primary request is that the missing baggage be located as soon as possible and that we receive regular updates throughout the process. We expect this issue to be resolved in our favor within the next two business days. Otherwise, if the situation remains unresolved, we would like to state that we will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and, subsequently, to the Consumer Court to seek our legal rights.
