AJet Refused to Refund 8 Tickets After Emergency Cancellation Due to Death
We had purchased 8 plane tickets from AJet, but just 30 hours before our scheduled flight, we received the heartbreaking news of a death in the family. Naturally, we reached out to AJet to cancel the tickets and request a refund, explaining the urgent and sensitive reason behind it.
To our shock, AJet told us they couldn’t help with a refund under these circumstances. Meanwhile, the car rental company and hotel refunded us within 2 hours—no questions asked, no complications. Their compassion and professionalism made us even more disappointed with how AJet handled this situation.
This lack of flexibility and understanding from AJet is deeply upsetting. We weren’t canceling for convenience—we were dealing with a real emergency. We’re asking AJet to do what’s right and refund the amount paid for those 8 tickets. Show some empathy, stand behind your customers, and stop hiding behind policies when humanity is what’s needed.
