Ajet Refused My Cat On Flight Despite All Vaccines Being Completed
On October 9, 2025, I bought a ticket with Ajet to fly from Gaziantep Airport to Ankara. I had completed all the necessary preparations to travel with my pet cat — her carrier met airline standards, and all her vaccinations had been done by a veterinarian. However, at the airport, Ajet staff refused to let my cat on the plane, claiming that her vaccinations were not recorded in her pet passport. Despite presenting all documents and explaining the situation, they offered no help. Even though all vaccinations were completed, they showed no understanding or flexibility simply because they weren’t written in the passport. Feeling completely helpless, I was forced to leave my frightened and stressed cat at Gaziantep Airport so my ticket wouldn’t go to waste. Having to abandon my pet with my own hands was an unbearable experience. Due to Ajet’s insensitive, rigid, and unhelpful attitude, I suffered emotional distress and my pet was mistreated. I request that the matter be investigated to prevent such incidents from happening again.
