Ajet Denied My Compensation Claim for the Delayed Flight
I had a round-trip Ankara-Paris flight with Ajet Airlines ticket number 2042420993384 with a connection in Istanbul. We missed the Istanbul-Ankara flight because our Paris-Istanbul flight dated January 25, 2025 was delayed. For this reason, we had to take the Istanbul-Ankara flight on January 26, 2025. A-Jet company put us up at the hotel. They stayed at the hotel for a few hours at night and picked us up from the hotel at 03:00 at night and brought us back to the airport. During this process, they said the kitchen at the hotel was closed and we were not given dinner, and we were not given breakfast in the morning. We were supposed to be in Ankara at 21:55 on January 25, 20025, but we landed in Ankara at around 07:30 on January 26, 2025. Due to this delay, we have a right to compensation and I made a request from Ajet company. However, I was sent a negative response. A positive response was sent to my cousin, who was traveling on the same plane, and he was paid €400 in compensation. This double standard practice is unacceptable. My right to compensation due to the delay must be paid. There is no other way left but to file a lawsuit with my cousin's bank receipt etc.
