Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4 Popping Sound and Internal Carbon Plate Defect
I bought a pair of Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4 running shoes from Yalı Spor at Agora Shopping Mall in İzmir on 3 September 2026. After using the shoes for running, a popping sound started to come from the toe area while I was running, similar to a balloon popping. Sometimes this sound occurs with every step, and sometimes every few steps. Because of this problem, I contacted Yalı Spor on 26 August and was asked to send the product for inspection. The shoes were forwarded to Adidas, and on 3 September I received the response that there was no manufacturing defect and that the product had been improperly used or maintained. I do not accept this explanation. This is a running shoe and I have only used it for running, not for any other activity, and I have not carried out any improper maintenance that could damage the shoe. There is no visible damage or defect on the outside of the shoe, and the popping can only be felt and heard while the shoe is being worn, which makes it very difficult to demonstrate the issue with a photo or video. Some of my friends who had a similar experience think that the carbon plate inside the shoe may have broken. I request that Adidas re‑evaluate my case, treat this as a possible manufacturing defect, and offer an appropriate solution such as replacement of the shoes or a refund.
