Zety.com Enrolls Customer in Hidden Monthly Subscription After One-Time CV Purchase

In March 2026, I made a one-time payment on the Zety website solely for the purpose of creating a resume. My intention was strictly to benefit from a one-time resume-building service; I had absolutely no intention of approving any monthly subscription or recurring payment request.

Following that single transaction in March, I never logged back into my Zety account and did not use the service again. However, while reviewing my bank statements recently, I noticed that recurring monthly fees were being deducted from my account. My bank receipts display consecutive deductions labeled as international online purchases and POS transactions.

I only agreed to pay for the initial service received and suffered financial loss due to a monthly subscription being initiated without my knowledge or explicit consent, resulting in repeated automatic charges. I demand that this situation be rectified immediately.

If still active, I demand the immediate cancellation of my subscription and a full refund of all monthly charges deducted from my account after the initial transaction in March 2026. Furthermore, I request written confirmation stating that no further fees will ever be charged to my account.
