Delivery Crisis At Zara - Negligence And Management Failure
On 21.08.2025 between 18:00–18:30, I visited the Zara Forum Bornova store in İzmir to collect an item I had purchased online. I had difficulty finding a staff member responsible for online order pickups. Eventually, I managed to reach an employee, scanned my QR code, and was told to wait 5–10 minutes. However, after waiting 15–20 minutes, no one came to assist me. Only after I reminded another employee did they immediately bring my item. While waiting, a casually dressed woman came out of the stockroom with a few people. I assumed she was a manager. She was telling a colleague how good the store staff was and how there were no longer any issues. This was ironic, as I was experiencing poor service and being neglected at that exact moment. The store was not busy at all. In fact, when I went back to follow up, I found the employee chatting with another colleague. Only after I interrupted their conversation and reminded them I was still waiting did I finally receive my order. Clearly, the excuse of being “too busy” does not apply here. I find this experience completely inconsistent with Zara’s customer satisfaction standards. Moreover, the lack of a proper communication or complaint channel to report this incident is extremely disappointing. I expect to be contacted by a manager regarding this issue and to receive an apology for the inconvenience caused.
