Fake YouGov WhatsApp Job Offer Tried to Scam Me for Money

Today, someone claiming to represent YouGov contacted me through WhatsApp, pretending to offer me a job opportunity. During the conversation, this individual attempted to obtain my personal information and demanded $42 in exchange. I did not make any payment. However, I am concerned because this person already has my home address and Turkish national ID number. The amount has been converted from Turkish lira to U.S. dollars using the current exchange rate and rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

Because this fake account claimed to be associated with YouGov, I am seriously concerned about the security of my personal information. I have not yet reported this incident directly to YouGov, but I wanted to make the company aware of the situation through this complaint.

I request that YouGov investigate the individual or accounts impersonating the company and using its name to solicit money through fraudulent job offers, take the necessary action to have these accounts removed, implement appropriate measures to protect my personal information, and provide me with a written update regarding the outcome of the investigation.
