In February 2026, I was contacted by Yapı Kredi’s call center and offered a Worldcard Troy credit card. During the call, I specifically asked when the annual fee would be charged. The customer representative clearly stated that the fee would only be applied 6 months after the card activation. Additionally, I was informed that if I spent $60 within the first month, I would receive $15 in reward points. Based on this information and the campaign terms, I approved the credit card application and fulfilled the required spending condition in full.

However, in my statement dated April 5, 2026, I was surprised to see a credit card annual fee of $33 charged to my account, which directly contradicts the information I was given. This situation has caused me financial inconvenience due to misleading and incorrect information provided by the customer representative.

I immediately contacted customer service and filed a complaint, but the explanations I received were not satisfactory. I request that this issue be urgently resolved, that the full $33 annual fee be refunded to my account, and that my call records be reviewed with a written response provided to me.
