Unauthorized Insurance Deductions And Charges From My Current Account

I am a Yapı Kredi customer and I would like to file a complaint regarding unauthorized insurance-related deductions made from my current account through your Kuşadası Çarşı branch. For my home insurance, I had cancelled the automatic renewal instruction well before the policy expiry date. Despite this clear cancellation and without my knowledge or explicit consent, two separate home insurance policies were created in my name. When I noticed this situation, I immediately contacted Allianz Sigorta to object, and the principal premium amounts were refunded to me. However, I later discovered that on 31.07.2026, deductions were made directly from my Yapı Kredi current account on the grounds that I had “used” the policies for 8 days. According to my account movements, three separate charges of ₺378.12, ₺56.72 and ₺56.72, totaling approximately ₺491.56, were debited from my account on the same date, even though I had not requested a renewal, had not given consent for a new policy, and had not benefited from any insurance coverage, service or assistance during this period. Allianz Sigorta clearly informed me that these withheld amounts were collected by the bank, not by the insurance company. I request that Yapı Kredi urgently cancel and refund in full the unauthorized charges of ₺378.12, ₺56.72 and ₺56.72 debited from my current account on 31.07.2026, and that a clear and documented explanation be provided as to on what legal and contractual basis these fees were charged despite the timely cancellation of my automatic renewal instruction and the lack of any benefit from the policies.
