Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Screen Issues Persist and Warranty Service Did Not Resolve It
I purchased a Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 device from a Migros store in December 2023, and I’ve had screen issues ever since. After exiting the Instagram app, even though it is closed in the background, the Instagram interface remains stuck on the screen, meaning the lower menus, likes, and comments sections are clearly visible. I performed a factory reset a few times, which temporarily fixed the problem, but the screen issue returned after a while. The problem is clearly visible in the photo I’ve attached. Even though the screen brightness is set to 100%, sometimes it increases beyond that or decreases, yet it still shows 100%. Despite having auto-brightness turned off, the brightness keeps changing. The phone also freezes and lags, and I have network issues. I sent it to the warranty service on May 27, 2024, by shipping it. When sent to the warranty, a factory reset is mandatory, and Genpa Ankara authorized service returned my phone saying there was no issue. I assume that because I had performed a reset before, the screen issue temporarily disappeared. Currently, I’m using the device, and I regret buying a Xiaomi. I will never buy one again. If I hadn’t called the service, the device would have been returned to me without any feedback. I was sold a defective, faulty product, and I do not accept this. I demand a refund as soon as possible.
