Xena Life Chat App Has Suspicious Money Requests

I am submitting this complaint regarding a disturbing situation I experienced on the Xena Life chat app that I believe may amount to fraud. People I met through the app repeatedly asked me for money using statements such as joining an agency and spending the night together. Users are being encouraged with messages such as, “Send this amount of money to join the agency” or “Send this amount of money and we can spend the night together.”

About two weeks ago, I spent a total of $81 through in-app purchases. Although the app is supposed to be intended for chatting and social interaction, these kinds of offers and requests for money create an environment that is both inappropriate and highly susceptible to fraudulent activity. I believe that offers involving sexual relationships in exchange for money and sexually explicit content should not be present on a normal chat app.

I request that Xena Life investigate this structure, including offers of relationships in exchange for money and promises of agency opportunities that may be used to mislead or deceive users. I also request that the necessary legal and administrative procedures be initiated and that appropriate action be taken regarding the app, including any measures necessary to prevent users from being exposed to this type of activity.
