I have been using my Mpaisa Mastercard for approximately five years without experiencing any problems. However, around two hours ago, I noticed an unauthorized transaction on my card for a service described as “Google WPS PDF” in the amount of $69.54 FJD.
I have never used, subscribed to, or knowingly agreed to any service connected to “Google WPS PDF,” and I did not authorize this payment in any way. Because of this, I consider the transaction to be completely unauthorized and potentially fraudulent.
As soon as I discovered the charge, I immediately blocked my Mastercard in order to prevent any further unauthorized deductions or suspicious activity. I also contacted Mpaisa customer support regarding the issue, and I was advised to request a refund for the transaction.
Since this payment was processed without my knowledge or consent, I kindly request that the transaction for $69.54 FJD be urgently investigated and fully refunded to my account. I also request that any possible subscription, recurring payment authorization, or linked billing arrangement associated with “Google WPS PDF” be immediately canceled so that no further charges can occur in the future.
In addition, I would appreciate receiving written confirmation regarding:
the outcome of the investigation,
the refund process,
and any security measures taken to protect my account from similar unauthorized transactions going forward.
