Vestel Windsor Air Conditioner Installed Without Proper Vacuuming

I purchased a Windsor air conditioner under Vestel’s warranty, and on September 5, 2024, an authorized technician came for the installation (service number 8105195854). During the process, I asked if the vacuuming procedure would be performed, as I’ve heard it’s essential. The technician claimed, “These are new-generation air conditioners; vacuuming isn’t necessary.” Based on this assurance, the installation was completed without vacuuming.
Later, I discovered that vacuuming is a critical step during the initial installation and that skipping it can cause irreversible damage to the unit. This means my air conditioner was installed improperly.
I demand that Vestel replaces the outdoor unit with a new one and ensures a proper installation with the necessary vacuuming procedure. This issue needs immediate resolution.
