Windsor Refrigerator by Vestel Stopped Cooling, Replacement Delayed for Over a Year



In April 2023, we purchased a Windsor refrigerator manufactured by Vestel. After only 5 months, it stopped cooling, causing all items in the freezer to thaw and go to waste. While the issue resolved itself within 24 hours, we called for service, but they couldn’t identify the problem. They advised us to record a video and call them if it happened again. When the issue recurred, we recorded the malfunction, but once again, the service team found nothing and rejected our replacement request. We took the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, won the case, and were promised a replacement. However, we were told Windsor refrigerators were no longer being produced and offered a Vestel equivalent for an additional ₺10,000. Despite paying the difference in April 2024 and being promised delivery by mid-June, as of October 3, 2024, we have not received the product. They have stopped answering our calls, and we’ve been left using our old refrigerator for over a year. Vestel has both our money and our patience. I demand immediate delivery of the promised product or a full refund, including the ₺10,000 paid. This delay is unacceptable!
