WhatsApp Locked Me Out Before the Stated Support Deadline of May 5, 2025
WhatsApp previously notified me that the app would stop supporting my mobile device on May 5, 2025. I made note of that date and planned accordingly. However, to my surprise and frustration, I’ve been unable to access WhatsApp since April 20, 2025—a full two weeks earlier than the stated deadline.
This is extremely inconvenient. I trusted the deadline provided by WhatsApp and made my arrangements based on that timeline. Shutting me out before the promised date is not only unprofessional—it’s unfair to users like me who rely on the app daily for both personal and professional communication.
WhatsApp, I demand immediate action. Either restore access until the originally communicated deadline or provide an official explanation and support alternative. Your platform must honor its commitments and treat users with transparency and respect.
