Unsolicited WhatsApp Message from South Africa – Concerned About Privacy Breach

On October 19, 2024, I received an unsolicited WhatsApp message starting with "hello" from a number with the country code +27, which I later found out belongs to South Africa. I have no personal or business connections with this country, and receiving this message made me extremely uncomfortable.

I have since blocked the number and message. I am filing this complaint to express my concern about the security of my account and the unauthorized use of my phone number. I want to make it clear that I will not accept any responsibility if my personal information, messages, or photos are accessed, or if any transactions, debts, or businesses are created in my name. All responsibility lies with WhatsApp to ensure the protection of my data.
