Received Unsolicited WhatsApp Message from a Foreign Number

I recently received an unsolicited WhatsApp message from a foreign number in the format +62 856 9322 2210, sent by someone with a foreign name. Rather than responding, I chose to block the sender and report the incident. My concern extends beyond the annoyance of unsolicited messages. I'm concerned about the safety of my WhatsApp account and personal data. If my account information was compromised, or if my phone number was misused or associated with any fraudulent activities, I would like to state unequivocally that I accept no responsibility for such actions. Any liability resulting from such incidents should fall squarely on WhatsApp's shoulders.
