Received Suspicious WhatsApp Calls From +237 — Requesting Security Review
Today, I received two video calls on WhatsApp from a foreign number starting with +237, which I checked online and learned belongs to Cameroon. After the calls, I also received a message saying, “How are you?” Since I believe this number may be used for malicious purposes, the situation made me uncomfortable and unsafe.
I do not want to receive video calls or messages from unknown foreign numbers on WhatsApp. For this reason, I request that this number be investigated, that the necessary security checks be carried out, and that, if possible, WhatsApp provide a filtering/blocking option to prevent these types of foreign country calls.
