How can I change the recipient of an already sent file in WeTransfer?

In the free version of WeTransfer, it is not possible to change the recipient after a file has been sent — if you entered the wrong email, you’ll need to re-upload the file and send it to the correct address.

In WeTransfer Pro, you can extend the link’s validity, remove access, or resend the same transfer to a new recipient if you originally used email delivery. To do this:

Log into your Pro account.

Go to the Transfers section.

Find the desired file and select the Resend option.

Enter the new email.

Note that this creates a new transfer — you cannot simply “replace” the recipient.
