Webull Deposit Bonus Scam - Promised "Free Shares" But Received Less
On March 23rd, I spotted an ad on Webull's website that read, "Check out this limited-time offer! Deposit and fill your brokerage account and receive up to 75 free fractional shares!'' Each share is worth between $3 and $3,000. The offer sounded quite appealing, so I joined up and made three different deposits totaling $32,000. However, the bonus shares that were paid to my account were substantially lower than what was promised. I attempted to contact customer service to inquire about the disparity but was unable to reach them by email or phone. I called again yesterday, and after 22 minutes of waiting on hold, I was finally connected to a person. They informed me that I earned a lower incentive because I did not make a single deposit. This is ludicrous because I deposited more than the minimum amount in total. They claimed there was nothing they could do. Webull's customer support is unresponsive and useless. I'll withdraw my money and close my account as soon as feasible.
