Volkswagen Passat Sensors Failed After 4000 km and Service Couldn't Fix the Issue
Two new Volkswagen Passat Business cars were purchased for our company in July 2024. One of the vehicles started having sensor malfunctions at 4,000 km, and the other at 3,000 km. When we took them to the service center, they said there was nothing they could do. Apparently, they don’t know the source of the problem (!) and said a software update was needed. Yesterday, they cleared the error messages and returned the car to us, but within the first 5 minutes of use, the malfunctions returned. Right now, none of the sensor-dependent functions, including cruise control, lane assist, and emergency braking, are working. Buy a Volkswagen again? Never!
