I bought a brand-new Passat from the Volkswagen dealership in Rize Turkey, but from the moment I got the car, I noticed a constant noise coming from the suspension. Despite visiting the service center multiple times for a sensor malfunction, they never noticed or mentioned anything about it. Moreover, when I told them that the suspension was making noise, they just tested the car and said, “That can happen sometimes.” Finally, when I officially reported the issue and stated, “There is a noise coming from the front left suspension,” the scandal was revealed! It turns out that the factory had left a suspension spacer inside the vehicle, and it had torn through the boot. I drove this car for 6,600 km with my family, unknowingly putting our lives at risk! How can I be sure that the chassis wasn’t damaged? Other parts will be replaced after the holiday, but driving 6,600 km in that condition is no small matter. The car hasn’t even been driving properly since the boot was torn. I will pursue all my legal rights—this is unacceptable! On top of that, the trunk’s cargo cover is defective and won’t close. The sensor is faulty and continues to give errors even after an update. And now, this issue is the last straw! Take this car back and give me a new one! Doğuş Oto is working carelessly. I am also sharing the video where the spacer is clearly visible, the noise the car makes on speed bumps, and the official document sent by the service center. When I recorded the video, I didn’t even realize it was a spacer—I only understood what that plastic piece was later. I am filing both a material and moral complaint. I have lost all trust in this brand—I will never buy from them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone!
