Long Wait Times, Delays at Volkswagen Service Center

I went to the Volkswagen service department today for a car repair, and the response I received left me completely frustrated. They said to me, "We can't look at it until after the 9th of the month." That is a ten-day wait. You can travel to Germany and back in three days, assuming the repair takes three days, which is not guaranteed. So, in 9 days, I could possibly have my car repaired. They couldn't even say how long the service would take once they started looking at the car. This experience has made me doubt the quality of service offered by this Volkswagen authorized service center. It's not what you'd expect from a well-known company. It's disheartening to realize that this place resembles a fancy industrial shop rather than a proper service center. I'm not sure if this is the worst Volkswagen service experience I've ever had, but it's certainly not the level of service I expected.
