Tinder Account Not Working After Selfie Verification

I have been unable to properly use my Tinder account since September 8, 2026. The app asked me to complete identity verification using a selfie, and after I completed the process, my account was placed under review. Although the review notification later disappeared from the app, my account never returned to normal, and I effectively became unable to use it.

I can currently log into the app, but I cannot open the profiles of people I have matched with, send messages, or use the swiping section. I continuously receive the error message, “Something went wrong, please try again later.” Although I can access the app, I cannot use any of its basic features, so I am unable to actually use my account.

I tried to resolve the issue on my own by deleting and reinstalling the app, using different internet connections, and logging out and back into my account, but none of these steps worked. I then contacted the Tinder Support Team several times. Even though several days have passed since my initial requests, the issue has not been resolved. I have only received automated emails telling me to respond if I need further assistance, without any concrete solution or explanation regarding the technical problem I am experiencing.

More importantly, when I tried to delete my account and create a new one, I received a “Could not delete account” error. This means that I cannot use my existing account, nor can I delete it and create a new one. This situation has left my account completely unusable since September 8 and has gone beyond being a temporary technical issue.

I request that my account and the selfie verification process be thoroughly reviewed again, that the technical issues be resolved, and that I regain normal access to my account with all features fully restored. On a platform with millions of users, it is unacceptable for a user to be unable to use their account for days and to receive only automated emails without a concrete solution despite contacting support. I want my issue to be genuinely investigated this time and for a clear solution to be provided.
