Volkswagen Returned My Car After Service With Untightened Gasket and Oil Inside
On May 8, 2025, at 5:45 PM, I took my Volkswagen after hearing that the maintenance was done. Surprisingly, only 20 minutes later, the engine warning light turned on. I quickly pulled over and got in touch with the service team. They mentioned they’d send a tow truck, but they outright said no to giving a replacement vehicle. The guy I talked to, who said he was the service manager, Mr. E***, didn't seem to care much or take responsibility. When the car got towed back to the service center, they found out that the engine gasket wasn’t tightened at all, and the whole interior was drenched in oil. I'm getting ready to file a complaint with Volkswagen Germany too. I'm going to make sure I use every legal and consumer right I have—not just for me, but to help others avoid dealing with this kind of carelessness.
