Istanbul Volkswagen Authorized Service Error
Hello, my name is Sercan Olcar, and I'm reaching out to you from Turkey. On October 11, 2023, I had a maintenance service for my 2014 Golf 7 with 135,000 km at Istanbul Tamaş Bakırköy Volkswagen Service. I paid 15,000 TL to replace all the brake pads, discs, and hydraulics. However, the next day, during the state vehicle inspection by Tüvtürk, my car was considered "HEAVY DEFECTIVE" due to a leaking issue in the front left brake. This issue was acknowledged when I took the car back to the service. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I hadn't had the vehicle inspection. Is it possible for such a mistake to occur in a reputable Volkswagen service, especially with the significant amount of money spent? My family and I are Volkswagen enthusiasts, and we've been servicing our car at the dealership, even down to changing the windshield wiper blades. When I think about the possible consequences of not taking my car for inspection, it's really affecting my mental state. I want everyone to learn from this incident and for the employees and authorities to be more careful. Additionally, I am requesting compensation for my financial and emotional losses. The offer of a car wash and hair salon voucher as compensation is unacceptable to me, considering the severity of this situation, which could potentially warrant the revocation of Tamaş Service's license. This incident shows that they haven't learned how serious this situation is. I'm requesting your assistance in obtaining compensation for both my financial and emotional losses and ensuring that those responsible face the necessary consequences. Thank you very much for your time and attention
