2022 Volkswagen Taigo 1.0 Shudders and Knocks From Day One

On the recommendation of others, I purchased a 2022 Volkswagen Taigo 1.0 Life, but I have not been happy with the car since the day I drove it off the lot. While the interior space, trim features, and cosmetic details are genuinely impressive, the car has serious mechanical problems.
I have been driving it for about a year, and from day one I have experienced noticeable shuddering and vibration during acceleration, low-gear driving, and while the car is idling. Gear changes also come with an uncomfortable, jarring knock. Frankly, a car with this many chronic issues has no business wearing the Volkswagen badge.
When I visited the authorized dealership, they confirmed it is a known, widespread issue — they even showed me a 2026 model with only 3,100 miles on it suffering from the exact same problem. So this is not an isolated defect; it is a systemic one. The fact that no solution has been offered, and that customers are simply being left to deal with it, is deeply unacceptable to me.
When I spent this kind of money on a car, I expected something reliable and trouble-free. Looking back now, I can see that the same budget could have gotten me an Opel Corsa or a Fiat Egea. The Volkswagen Taigo may look good and offer decent interior space, but it has absolutely failed to meet my expectations on the mechanical side.
I am calling on Volkswagen to produce a clear, definitive fix for this chronic problem, carry out the necessary inspections, and make things right for affected customers. A defect impacting this many owners cannot simply be swept under the rug.
