Vodafone Denied My 25 Percent Disabled Discount Despite Confirming Eligibility
Vodafone disregards disabled rights. I recently switched my GSM number from Turkcell to Vodafone. Afterwards, I told the Vodafone dealer who switched me that I had a disabled report and wanted to benefit from %25 disabled discount, which all other GSM companies give. He told me that Vodafone do not give such a discount. However, I had previously benefited from this discount from other GSM operators like Turkcell and Türk Telekom. When I called Vodafone customer service and explained the situation, they asked me to send my 87% disabled report to an e-mail address they gave me. Then, they called me and said that my request was right and that I should benefit from the disabled discount. But, they also said that I should not submit the report by e-mail but to a Vodafone dealer. So I first applied to the Mimaroba branch that switched me to Vodafone. The dealer told me that they could not enter the report into the system because they were not a main dealer. So I went to the Vodafone main dealer in Beylikdüzü Migros AVM. When I explained the situation, they said that my request was right, that they could normally process the report into the system, but that I could only submit this report to the dealer I switched to Vodafone, and that they did not have the authority to do anything. I want my disability report to be taken into consideration and the 25% disability discount to be reflected on my Vodafone number 533***4585 bill immediately. Otherwise, I will have to state with regret that I will have to switch all my numbers from Vodafone to one of the other operators and that I will share my grievances on all social media accounts and complaint sites.
No one called me to talk. No solution was offered.
