Shocking Overcharge on Vodafone Bill
I'm a Vodafone customer. Last night, I remembered the trouble I had with data overage on my previous carrier, T****, and decided to set a limit on Vodafone as well. So, I set the spending limit to 200 TL in the invoice settings to prevent excessive internet usage after my package runs out. However, this morning, I discovered that an additional overage charge of 580 lira was reflected on my bill, without any prior notice or explanation. When I initially checked my bill, I only saw one Smart 5 GB and didn't think much of it. What harm could come from Smart 5 GB, right? But when I went to the user details from the invoice settings, I noticed multiple charges for amounts like 1GB and 500MB at exorbitant prices. Considering the current situation in Turkey, it's truly disappointing that a company like Vodafone, which I thought was customer-friendly, would do this. Moreover, 580 lira is an outrageous amount. It would take me four months of bill payments to cover it. Can I please get an urgent response? (By the way, I want to reiterate clearly that apart from the last charge, none of the internet packages appear in the app. They only show up when I check the usage. There is absolutely no indication of their usage in the app.)
