Complaint Regarding VFS Global Switzerland Visa Appointment System

I applied for a Switzerland Schengen tourist visa through VFS Global Ankara and would like to formally report serious systemic and technical issues I experienced during the appointment booking process. After being placed on the waiting list for two days, I received an email stating that I could book an appointment within a 24‑hour window. When I tried to do this via the VFS Global Switzerland website, I realized that it is not possible to see available appointment slots without first completing a detailed form. Applicants are required to enter fixed travel dates, accommodation details, and other trip information before they can even view appointment availability. I planned my trip for April and filled out the form according to those dates, only to see, after submitting everything, that no appointment slots were available until after that period. This system forces applicants to lock in travel plans without having basic visibility of appointment dates, which makes the process unreliable and inefficient. In addition to this structural problem, the website has very serious technical flaws. The form must be completed within 30 minutes due to security rules, yet the address fields do not accept spaces or special characters such as “/”. When I tried to enter my address properly, the page repeatedly froze. I was only able to complete the form after clearing my cache multiple times, opening a private browser session, and entering my address in an unnatural format without proper characters. These technical issues seriously damage usability and make an already stressful visa process unnecessarily complicated. I will provide screenshots that clearly show these problems, and I intend to present this complaint also to the relevant authorities in both Switzerland and Türkiye. As a paid service provider in visa procedures, VFS Global is expected to offer a transparent, reliable, and technically sound system that meets basic quality standards. I request an official explanation as to how such a flawed appointment logic and unstable technical infrastructure can be in use, and I expect a formal apology for the time wasted and the difficulty caused by this process.
