I used Urban Care Summer Glow Progressive Lightener exactly as instructed. Before applying it fully, I did a patch test on my face and neck, and everything seemed fine. However, within five minutes of spraying it onto my entire hair, I felt an intense stinging sensation, like needles pricking my hands. When I looked down, I was shocked to see my hands turning completely white.

While the Monoi oil scent is pleasant at first, the white patches on my hands kept spreading. I specifically checked the instructions, and nowhere did it say to wear gloves. Since the product is labeled as vegan, I assumed it would be gentle, but clearly, it is not safe for direct skin contact.

Additionally, after I stopped using it, the scent became overwhelmingly strong, making it hard for me to breathe. It took 2-3 hours for my hands to recover. If this product damages skin so badly, I can only imagine the harm it could do to hair and scalp.
