UPS Turkey Passport Delivery Delayed Due To Incomplete Address Error
On October 27, 2025, my shipment with tracking number 1Z229Y4X6600177205, which was handed over to UPS Türkiye by the German Consulate, could not be delivered to me on October 31, 2025, due to an “incomplete address.” The package was supposed to be delivered to the Kocaeli Karamürsel area by the UPS Kocaeli branch. When I contacted UPS customer service about the delay, I was told that the branch would be notified and the package would be delivered the same day. However, by the end of the day, I was informed that it would only be forwarded to the relevant departments and that the call center could not take further action. I was also told that deliveries are not made to my area every day, which caused additional delay. The shipment is my passport, sent from an official institution, and because of this delay, I will miss a trade fair and two scheduled meetings with companies. This situation has caused both loss of time and financial damage. It is unacceptable for a courier company to fail to deliver an official international document on time and to offer no adequate solution during the process. I request that UPS deliver my shipment to me as soon as possible and compensate for my financial losses caused by this delay.
