Unibet Scam Demands Payments After False Winning Claims
About a year ago, someone named M*** Z*** added me on Facebook and consistently posted fake payment receipts and thank-you videos under the guise of Unibet. Intrigued, I tested the legitimacy by sending a message. They immediately responded and asked for my number, which I provided. Soon after, they contacted me via WhatsApp, offering free betting coupons worth ₺500, ₺750, and ₺1000, claiming any winnings would be transferred to me.
After selecting a coupon, they gave me an IBAN under the name Ş*** A*** and asked for a "registration fee" of ₺500. I sent the payment but then received a message saying I had "won" ₺378,920. However, they demanded ₺5740 as a "tax payment" before transferring my winnings. This is a clear scam aimed at exploiting people’s trust and finances.
I urge others to be cautious and request immediate legal action against these fraudulent practices. Protect your personal and financial information!
