I came across a Bwin advertisement on Instagram and attempted to place a bet using the username n****. Soon after, I received a message stating that I had “won.” However, to claim my so-called winnings, I was told I had to deposit ₺9,980. I was then contacted on WhatsApp by someone named H* D*****, who pressured me to pay. I explained that I didn’t have the money, but this person escalated the situation by sending threatening messages under another name.
They falsely claimed they would involve lawyers, mentioned my father’s identification details, and threatened legal action unless I paid. Under pressure, I transferred ₺5,000 in a moment of weakness. Initially, they claimed it was accepted, but shortly after, they insisted I pay the rest to finalize the process. I refused, stating I couldn’t afford more, but the threats continued.
Eventually, their tone completely shifted—they became rude, blocked me, and disappeared. I lost both my money and peace of mind. This is an outright scam, and I urge authorities to take action against these fraudulent activities. I want others to be aware and avoid falling victim to such deceptive schemes.
