On January 11, 2025, I attempted to book a hotel reservation through Trivago. The site redirected me to a platform called Stayforlong, which I assumed was trustworthy since it came recommended by Trivago. I made a reservation for Alanya Noxinn Deluxe Hotel for the dates September 1–7, 2025, and paid a deposit of ₺3841.
However, on January 13, 2025, I called the hotel to confirm the reservation and was informed that no such booking existed. Additionally, they stated that their sole authorized agency is Tatilbudur.com. Hoping this was a delay, I waited until January 20, 2025, and contacted the hotel again, only to receive the same response—no reservation was found.
As a result, the deposit I paid to Stayforlong appears to have been lost. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I urge Trivago and Stayforlong to take responsibility for this failure. I request immediate action to either secure my booking or refund the deposit. This incident has shattered my trust in these platforms.
