TP-Link AX1800 Wi-Fi Adapter Exhibits Chronic Ping Spikes and Disconnects
For approximately 1.5 years, I have used a TP-Link AX1800 Wi-Fi adapter, during which the device has consistently failed to deliver stable network performance. The unit suffers from continuous latency spikes, freezing, and frequent connection drops, rendering online gaming and high-bandwidth usage impossible.
I submitted the product for warranty service multiple times. The service center returned the unit twice, claiming no defect was found. Upon a subsequent submission, TP-Link approved a replacement and delivered a brand-new sealed unit. However, the new replacement adapter exhibits the exact same ping fluctuations and connection drops, confirming a chronic hardware or firmware flaw inherent to the AX1800 model series.
Receiving a brand-new replacement unit that suffers from identical operational defects demonstrates that further replacements of the same model will not resolve the problem.
I refuse to accept another replacement of this specific model. I demand that TP-Link exchange this unit for a completely different, stable Wi-Fi adapter model—regardless of tier—to permanently resolve this ongoing connectivity failure.
