TP-Link Archer VX1800v Modem Suffers Recurring Power Shutdowns After Three Repairs
On April 21, 2025, I purchased a TP-Link Archer VX1800v modem via Hepsiburada. Shortly after installation, the device developed a recurring power failure: upon plugging in, the status indicator lights flash for approximately 30 seconds before extinguishing completely, leaving the hardware entirely unresponsive.
This chronic defect has forced me to submit the unit to authorized technical service three separate times, under Service Record 14045 (September 12, 2025) and Service Record 26075 (May 13, 2026). Following each service return, the modem functions briefly before exhibiting the exact same power failure, forcing me to rely on an older backup device. Because the service center has repeatedly failed to rectify this hardware flaw across multiple repair cycles, the unit is demonstrably defective.
Under consumer protection regulations governing recurring product defects, a consumer has the right to revoke the purchase contract when a product remains defective after multiple technical service attempts. I refuse further repair attempts or a product replacement.
I demand that TP-Link and Hepsiburada immediately cancel the sale and issue a full refund of the purchase price.
