Timberland Waterproof Shoes Hurt My Heel After One Wear
On August 11, 2025, I purchased a waterproof pair of shoes from the official Timberland website for $199 under order number 482086. I first wore the product on September 15, 2025, the day after the summer return period ended, and only for a very short distance. However, the heel area of the shoe severely rubbed my foot and caused a wound, making it impossible for me to wear the product again.
I immediately contacted Timberland customer service, and following their instructions, I sent the product in for inspection. I also emailed photos of the injury on my foot. However, the shoes were returned to me with the explanation that there was no manufacturing defect and that the issue was not covered under warranty. Considering that I wore the shoes only once and for a very short time, receiving this response from such an expensive and well-known brand was both surprising and disappointing.
Due to what I see as a lack of commercial courtesy, customer care, and accountability for the product they sell, I believe customers should think twice before shopping from this company. I am requesting a full refund for the product.
