Timberland Water Damage Complaint After Rainy Season Use
I purchased a pair of Timberland brown Chukka boots through Pazarlama.com. The price was approximately $103–$126 USD. I specifically chose this product to wear in rainy and snowy weather. However, when the rainy and winter season began and I started wearing the boots, I experienced serious problems.
In rainy conditions, I noticed that the boots were letting water in, causing my feet to get wet. In addition, ever since I began wearing them, an unusually strong and unpleasant odor has developed in the boots. This issue occurs even after short periods of use. For a product at this price point and from a brand with such a strong reputation, I did not expect problems with water leakage or this level of odor.
Despite contacting both Timberland and Pazarlama.com at different times over the past two years, my complaint has not been accepted, and no resolution has been offered. The issue has been dismissed as user error, and my inconvenience has not been addressed.
I request that the product be formally inspected and recognized as defective. I am seeking either a product replacement or, at minimum, a store credit equivalent to the amount I paid so that I can purchase another pair of boots of my choice.
