Timberland Bradstreet 5 Eye Ox Lining Peeling After Short Use

Even though I wore my Timberland Bradstreet 5 Eye Ox tan men’s leather shoes under normal daily use, the inner ankle lining completely peeled off within a short period of time. While the outer leather and stitching remain intact, only the inner lining/coating has deteriorated in this way. In my view, this is not user error but clearly a material and manufacturing defect.
Although the exterior of the shoe is genuine leather, it is obvious that a low-quality synthetic lining was used in the inner ankle area. This lining quickly broke down due to normal sweat and friction, making the shoes both uncomfortable and visually unacceptable to wear.
For a product in this price range and from a brand like Timberland, which has a strong reputation for quality, this situation has caused serious disappointment. Experiencing such a problem in such a short time with a product that is expected to be long-lasting is unacceptable to me.
I expect this dissatisfaction to be addressed and that the product be evaluated as defective merchandise, with my request for either a replacement or a refund honored.
