Can’t Buy TikTok Coins on iPhone 16 Pro — Payment Fails with “Unusual Activity” Warning
For the past two days, I’ve been unable to purchase coins on TikTok from my iPhone 16 Pro. Each time I try, I receive the warning message “Unusual activity detected”, and the transaction fails. About 30 minutes ago, I attempted to purchase ₺1000 (≈ $31) worth of coins four times, but every attempt ended with the same error. My account is personal, and my username is S*z0**. I’ve never had any restrictions or suspensions before, and just 20 minutes earlier, I was able to successfully complete a coin purchase without any issues.
I’m trying to make the payment using my VakıfBank debit card, which has a sufficient balance. I haven’t tried any other payment method yet. I deleted and reinstalled the app, I’m using the latest version, and all my transactions are being made via mobile data. I haven’t tried a different connection, and I’m not using a VPN. I contacted TikTok customer service, but only received AI-generated responses without any real assistance. I also haven’t received any security alerts or suspicious login notifications on my account.
This is the first time I’ve encountered such a problem. I request that the restriction on purchasing coins be lifted and that TikTok provide a clear explanation for the issue.
